Alright I think Ive got to admit this. My favorite Marvel superhero isnt Wolverine, yes hes radically cool. My favorite Marvel hero is Spiderman. Heres why: An orphan, a total geek, being raised by his elderly aunt and uncle, bullied in school, and then Peter gets bit by a radioactive spider!!! Obviously Peter Parker had problems. Then with powers, much like I would, he initially abused them! And in doing so he had to pay the horrible price of losing his uncle who he loves and who loves him... Plus: Crawling on walls, shooting spiderwebs, and swinging around town is kind of crazy, but also radically cool!!! No one would have ever thought being a spider could be so neat before Spiderman showed us just how neat it could be. Why tell you Spidermans my favorite Marvel Superhero? No, not because I like Batman more, but hes a DC hero... Im bringing Spiderman up because like him we all have problems. We also all have blessings and special skills. It would be easy for a guy like Peter Parker to not use his blessings and skills for good. He could make excuses because he has all of these problems. What makes him a superhero is that he doesnt make excuses, he takes action to make a difference!!! I want to be like Spiderman. Even if I cant crawl on walls and fire spiderwebs...
