Alright everyone next Sunday is the 1st of December and our objective is to get into the Christmas spirit early to hopefully really enjoy Christmas. I usually do this by watching a few Christmassy films and listen to Christmas hits throughout the whole of December and finally cook a great family Turkey dinner (for about 10 of us) on Boxing day or just a day or two after. To start with below is my list of films to watch you help get you in the mood. This is not a definitive list, it can be added too , and there are some I will not watch because the actors are crap and think they are great and funny, for example – Will Ferrell( in Elf), Adam Sandler (if he’been in any Xmas films) and Ben Stiller (also if he’been in any Xmas films). They are not all Christmas films but have a snow theme in it. Here we go:- 1. A Christmas Carol - George C Scott (1984) 2. Christmas Everyday (1996) – A tv movie like Groundhog day 3. Home Alone [1990] 4. Home Alone 2 5. Jingle All The Way 1996 6. Miracle on 34th Street 1994 7. Santa Claus The Movie 1985 8. Batman Returns 1992 9. Die Hard 2 10. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (2005) 11. Polar Express 2004 12. Scrooged 1988 13. Christmas with the Kranks 14. The Snowman-1982 15. The Bishops Wife 1947 – (I have this one in colour because I like it so much) 16. White Christmas[1954] 17. Disneys A Christmas Carol 2009 And finally but not least you must watch these Christmas Eve and the last one while the turkey is cooking or on or around Christmas day:- 18. Scrooge(color)[1951 – (Must be in colour) 19. Its a Wonderful Life (Colorized) (1946) – (Colourized version) Almost one a day till Christmas. You don’t need to watch them all just some of them. Watch them with family if you wish or mostly on your own like I do. With your family pets (If you are a magical person – Bats, Toads and Owls are OK). If you can think of anymore that you always watch at Christmas that is not on the above list just add your suggestion.
