Alright reading nerds: I have told my niece that I will start a book series with her soon and was wanting some suggestions. (She is 12 so nothing racy/gory/inappropriate) I have never read and was willing to go to the obvious choice, Harry Potter, however when I mentioned it, she wrinkled her nose and said it was nerdy?!??! (Says my niece who gets all As!!!???) Anyways- looking for books for a 12 year old to get her into books more and preferably a series so when we finish the first one there will be an incentive to keep reading? Suggestions welcome!
