Alright world. Loving today. Just came I to a wonderful realization of who and what I am today. It is not the person I envisioned 14 yrs ago when I moved to NY. But its something even bigger on a different scale. Back then I came here a man at the start of his new relationship with the intent of being a TV producer. But opportunity always presents itself and I dive in with out abandon. 14 years later I have produced 4 TV pilots, 3 shorts films, had a 8.5 yr relationship with the love my life Geoffrey Dunne( with whom I am still BFF ), built a NYC TV/film networking group (OTF) into a global organization till its 10 yr anniversary, become one of the leading figured in The NYC LGBT community through non stop after work parties, events, and promotions while being an advocate/supporter of numerous 501C organizations such as the Anti Violence Project , Newfest, and Live Out Loud. Does this mean I will never be a paid TV producer. No it doesnt. It just means that this life of Way Out Worldwide is me and always will be me. It finally Hit me today. I cant give this up. Its a calling and an obligation to the community I have created and as a whole. Will I be that a paid producer. Hell yes I will. Working vigilante right now on it with a short film, web series in development and school at The New York Film Academy in Jan to ensure I will make that transition. I have spent this last year figuring out if I could do it all. And on this day of Aug 17 2014 I now understand that I can HAVE IT ALL. Thank you to everyone friend, mentor, inspiration, and supporter along the way. I cant wait to see what comes in the next 5 years.
