Als Kicking Cancers Butt update💜 All I can say about our weekend is Cancer is, mean, ugly, self centered, heartless, hateful and nasty. Al experienced a lot of this this weekend💜 He was at Woodstock Hospital for a night after going to the ER for a fever. He was use to his cancer team at Rush Hospital and so he was transferred to Rush Friday night. All the chemo and the bad virus he has really affected Al saying sentences and getting his words out. He had some episodes of confusion. The Dr and nurses assured us it was most likely from the virus and fever. He has a lot of chest congestion and coughing. He is having breathing treatments every 4 hours that seem to help a lot. He has felt so rotten he hasnt ate much.😕 The chemo has caused him to have sores in his mouth have hindered his appetite to. This afternoon he seemed alittle better and he was in better spirits! Tara and Al are taking one day at a time.💜 His prognosis is still good. Praise God💜 Faith💜HOPE💜LOVE
