Als u dacht dat Darth Vader ooit gezegd heeft ‘Luke, I am your father’, dan heeft u het ook bij het verkeerde eind. De Star Wars-slechterik zei wel ‘No, I am your father’. Ook de wereldberoemde ‘Do you feel lucky, punk?’-quote van Clint Eastwood in ‘Dirty Harry’ klopt niet. Vieze Harry zegt in de plaats ‘You’ve got to ask yourself one question. Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?’. Ook Dorothy uit ‘The Wizard of Oz’ wordt vaak foutief geciteerd. Zij zei tegen haar hondje ‘Toto, I’ve a feeling we’re not in Kansas anymore’ en niet ‘Toto, I don’t think we’re in Kansas anymore’.
