Altaf Hussain attributes MQM candidates’ grand victory to success of all Haq Parast people London, Aug 22: Describing the grand victory of Muttahida Quami Movement’s candidates in Thursday’s by-elections as `unprecedented and exemplary’, the party chief Altaf Hussain attributed it to the success of all Haq Parast people of the country. “Karachiites and people of Sindh by electing Haq Parast candidates have proved that the MQM has deep and strong roots among the urbanites of Sindh”, he added. In a statement issued on Thursday, Mr Hussain said that the MQM candidates’ victory in the by-polls achieved with the blessings of the Almighty Allah was a clear proof that the Haq Parasts enjoyed Allah’s full blessings and people’s complete support. He lauded the MQM’s office-bearers, elected representatives, candidates and workers, saying that their round-the-clock work during the by-elections has not only belied all the negative propaganda hatched against the party but also spread the message of Haq Parasti in every nook and cranny of the country. Moreover, people by reposing confidence in the MQM have also proved that they did not believe in the false and baseless propaganda against the party, he added. Mr Hussain on this occasion felicitated members of MQM Coordination Committee, all departments, zones, sectors, units, Senators, MNAs, MPAs and all the winning candidates. He also paid tributes to non-Muslims, Haq Parast people belonging to all nationalities, heirs of all martyred workers of the MQM and families of all missing and imprisoned colleagues, on the grand victory of Haq Parast candidates, saying they all deserved to be felicitated on the grand victory of MQM candidates. At the outset, Mr Hussain exhorted the elected representative to remain humble and serve all their constituents without any discrimination.
