Although I have a diploma from the Institute of Childrens Literature in Conn., my lack of confidence after being rejected by a few publishers caused me to stop submitting stories. I never became a published writer as Ive always wanted. I also have had a longtime dream to be a filmmaker, since I think I can come up with a good story for a movie that would be better than the movies Ive wasted a lot of time watching. Now that I am interested in Japanese idols I want to do something else. I want to make a documentary film on idols, interviewing them (and having professional subtitles added for English people) and including full live performances of songs as an example of what each group is. Maybe this would actually have to be a series of specials that go straight to DVD so that I can focus on certain groups and / or companies to give viewers a wider appreciation of idol groups. Every group is different and brings something new and interesting to the table. If anyone wants to help finance this dream of mine, let me know. Now, back to more daydreaming.... :)
