Although as a kid growing up it was impossible to not notice the importance others were giving into the ideas of of confidence and self-esteem, I never was fallen for those ideas, because I saw in my own self, and in others, how fragile this version of confidence & self-esteem were. These ideas can literally make you believe that you are at the top of the world in one moment, and in the next, you are suddenly at the bottom of the Ocean. Bam!, just like that. Self-esteem, or the idea that you are better, is nothing but the misinterpretation of circumstances. It is an ignorant & an illusive idea, serving an unhealthy cause, which only leads one towards frustration because it intercepts your opportunity to be truly happy. So instead of puffing up yourself with a fake sense of identity, it is better to learn how to respect yourself. To quote quote Professor Toni Nobles (she is brilliant!) own words: ... develop a deeper sense of self knowledge, but it must be evidence based. youtube/watch?v=bGvXRZDObgA
