Although hes been absent for most of my life, there was something my father told me when I was young that was so empowering, to this day it remains the single most important thing anyone has ever said to me. He said, Trey, you are MY son. There is nothing in this world you cant do. It might sound silly to some, but to me, it meant everything. It stIll means everything. He so believed in himself that when he had me, he made sure that I knew I was capable of great things also. He was so sincere when he said it and he meant it with every part of his being. Just the way he looked at me, I physically felt the power of those words. Ill never forget that. And Im finally beginning to believe in myself again the way he believed in me back then - the way Im sure he still believes in me now. Im my fathers son. And if theres something, ANYTHING in this world I want to achieve, I will do it. My motivation is back.
