Although it is early to say,but the attitude of most of the people of both the communities Hindu and Muslim in Hazaribagh ,is very encouraging and heart warming,after a scuffle with a rowdy who happened to be a muslim and a young businessman who was a hindu resulted in the death of the latter,everyone treated it as a tragic fight and no more,the rowdy was arrested by the alert administration with active help from muslims. But what is most appalling is the role played by a fathers and son duo,one of whom is contesting the elections,they tried to provoke people to commit voilence and create mayhem,knowing fully well that this may result in a disastrous social disorder.But the ordinary citizens of Hazaribagh foiled their designs. I do not understand why these people who are stinking rich and growing daily,would stoop to such activities which may result in harming ordinary people.Why they cannot take a more peaceful path to achieve their ambitions.Why these people are trying to harm those very people who have given them everything. Now the time has come to unite and make these people see reason in their ruthless campaign to grab power trampling the innocent people. I still regret the day when I helped the elder of the due become Chairman of Hazaribagh Municipality which was his first foray in politics,and thus creating a frankestein of sorts.
