Although not directly related to the Genesis Gap, I believe that - TopicsExpress

Although not directly related to the Genesis Gap, I believe that it may well be related indirectly. A time is coming which will challenge our modern-day world-view, and even some who believe in creation, will conveniently “sweep” the truth of how God once destroyed the ancient world, “under the carpet.” Peter the apostle called it “willing ignorance.” Has the Bible perhaps been misunderstood in part? Generally speaking in the 21st century, we no longer refer to visitors from elsewhere as “the gods,” but as aliens or extra-terrestrials. By dictionary definition, an extra-terrestrial is one who originates from beyond this earth and its atmosphere, which in turn means that the serpent who appeared in the garden of Eden, was an extra-terrestrial being. One might well say that it wasnt a literal serpent, or that Satan is a fallen angel, and according to the Bible, angels are spirits, not extra-terrestrials. True, the serpent may well be figurative, for weve no way of knowing how Satan presented himself to Eve. But regardless of how he appeared, and regardless of whether hes a spirit, he is a literal person, and in a sense, may even be more real than you and I. He is certainly far more cunning and powerful, and whilst he might contend with Satan at times, even Michael the archangel didnt dare to take liberty, and berate him by way of accusation. Yes, Satan is a fallen angel, but one who is the prince and the god of this world, for its kingdoms were once delivered unto him. Have no doubt, for when seen this way, our world has always been under the control of a malevolent extra-terrestrial ruler, who holds the power of death, and humanity have been held captive. Why should this be? Because all men have sinned, and are subject to death. To be subject to death is to be fallen short of the glory of God. On the plus side of course, God loves mankind, and whilst Jesus too, is of extra-terrestrial origin, He became flesh to dwell amongst men, and to pay the penalty for mans sin. But he also came to defeat the extra-terrestrial being who held the power of death, and to set the prisoners free. Hebrews 2:14. Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; Colossians 1:13. Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son. Both Michaels angels and those of the devil are extra-terrestrial beings. They are at war in Heaven, or outer space, and one day the latter will be cast to the earth. Yet Christians are often amongst the first to scoff at the idea of a future extra-terrestrial invasion. https://facebook/GenesisAndTheRahabConspiracy
