Although the cancellation of flights by Air Canada screwed up my plans, and I am now ticketed to fly 2 days later on British Air on Jul 26, I have such mixed feelings about leaving. After 6 months in Israel, I am returning to Canada for a 5 week scheduled vacation. Thanks to Eng-speakers Group, Coming Out/Coming Home, Queer Ulpan - I know more people here than in Canada. I feel badly to be leaving them at this stressful time, as if I am deserting them. I am so anxious to return even though I havent even left yet - I wonder how I will feel on the plane coming back and then landing in Tel Aviv. I hope I will return in health and happiness to a more peaceful situation here! Amen.
