Although the new meds have taken care of the angina attacks and the nausea Dick is still finding it hard to eat anything. Leyna stayed with Dick today while I had to be away for a few hours. Having not eaten any breakfast when she told me he wouldnt eat any lunch I was concerned and asked if there was anything he thought he could eat, he said how about some homemade eggnog, naturally I Googled it and came up with a recipe. Pleased to say he drank a 12 oz. glass of eggnog made with a farm fresh egg. Many thanks to his friends like Tink Camp and Bill council who stopped by yesterday to visit with him. He and Tink have been friends for some 50 plus years and Dick enjoys sharing stories of days past with him. He has made time to visit with Dick often after hearing about his illness in spite of his own health issues. Bill would often stop by and help Dick on the sawmill during the first years of his illness and when I would thank him he always said no need for thanks as every day I work with Dick I learn something new, he has skills that will be lost with his generation, I should be thanking him. We are so lucky to have so many supporting us through these difficult times.
