Although this incident happened in Taiwan, it still serves as a reminder to all of us to be vigilant and take care of our belongings at all times. While one of the thieves served as a lookout and shielded his partner from the victim friends field of vision, his partner in crime swooped in to grab the victims bag. The victims friend was also too occupied with his phone to realize what had happened. Such a thing can happen in broad daylight, and in a crowded foodcourt nonetheless. We should all be responsible for our belongings, especially with festivities just round the corner.
