Always Remembered. On Sunday August 3rd, 2014, Company A, 218th BSB held a promotion ceremony for a fellow Soldier who passed away Feb. 18. SPC Reynaldo J. Williams was frocked to SGT posthumously in the presence of his family and friends who were presented with a flag & shadow box containing his decorations. Having joined in 2007, Reynaldo J. Williams took a pledge to uphold the values that define both our nation and the Army as a whole. This was an endeavor he succeeded in as he stood as a benevolent avatar of the Army Values embodying and practicing the traits: Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage with marked adroitness. The words etched into the memorial cake speak volumes to the image that Williams will leave behind. “Remembering Reynaldo J. Williams in loving memories. You will remain in our hearts and your time was a gift to us. We will never forget.”
