Always be alert and never think that you have reached a point where you cannot be deceived - that is evidence of arrogance. I fear God only and I know that through Christ I am capable of all victory but it does not mean that I think I can do it all on my own and that I am the one who is now so strong and wise that I can not be momentarily blindsided. This is the very deception that Satan is so carefully twisting and turning and cleverly presenting to us in ways that we need the Holy Spirit to alert us to or we may well find the seeds of self deception start germinating in or souls. Nobody comes to the Father except through the Son - there is no other way. It is not our good works or great personality and personal wisdom or the ability to see this and that; it is only through the Son. There is no other way to the Father. Unless we bow our knees before Him and confess that He IS the Son of God, we are still walking the wide road and not on our way to the Kingdom of God.
