Always growing......Whenever trouble comes your way, let it be an opportunity for joy. For when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be strong in character and ready for anything. (James 1:2-4) As a Christian we have a profound responsibility to be a positive role model for our family. So heres a question that should make us pause and think: do we want our family to keep growing intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually? If yes is our answer (which, undoubtedly, we did), we will have to keep growing too. To set a positive example, we must continue to expand our horizons through every stage of life. Growth can be painful; its sometimes earned at a very high price; but personal growth is always worth the cost. Even today we may encounter circumstances, perhaps troubling circumstances, that will offer us opportunities to grow......or not. Lets choose growth...its the best way to live.
