Alyssas surgery last Friday was a success to help correct her foot drop issue. These photos were taken today. November 2012 Alyssa received 2 1/2 hours of CPR at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester Mn. Her lower right leg did not get enough blood flow during that CPR and ligaments, muscle, and other tissues were severely damaged, and had to be removed. There was a 60% chance that she would lose her lower right leg. She beat the odds but its been a tough & painful road for her... (the last pictures were taken in early 2013)
