Alzheimers Disease (AD)- At A Glans Alzheimers Disease is the most common form of Dementia. Its a degenerative disease of Brain and the exact cause is not known. Early symptom is usually difficulty to remember recent events. When suspected diagnosed by evaluating behavior and thinking abilities and brain scan As it advances long term memory is lost along with loss of bodily functions and finally succumbs to mortality. . It was first described by a German Psychiatrist and Neuropathologist Alois Alzheimer in 1906 and was named after him.Most of the AD is diagnosed in people over 65 years of age although less prevalent early onset Alzheimer can occur in the earlier life. Alzheimers is predicted to occur 1 in 85 people globally by 2050. .
