Am I having fun yet? Somebody let me know when Im having fun..... I go to the beach. I leave early to walk down to the Coast Guard House per Craig Hallmans invitation. As Im walking along, looking nice in my crisp white shorts,and blouse, I hit an area of the sidewalk in front of south beach which is unlevel from east to west say, and then a different level north to south. The sideways level differental I can see, the other level has sand built up in it and I cant see the drop. So down I go, hard and fast. My right knee has a contusion with a patch of open wound. My left foot, which ended up upside down underneath me, has skin missing at the ankle and then my toe where I had the foot surgery is swollen and hurts a lot, possibly broken, definitely jammed. As time has passed the right side of my right foot has become painful and now my back hurts. There were also many many piece of gravel to remove from my palms. So I hobbled along to the damned Coast Guard House and crawled bloody and sandy up the deck stairs. Funny how fast one can go from looking smart to resembling a train wreck...I had myself a cranberry juice while I swelled. Craigs girlfriend Carla helped me clean the blood and sand from my legs. I am supposed to be going to a party but I think I might just stay put in case I should decide to drive myself to an ER.
