Am I the only one who cooks completely different in the summer than in the winter? I have stuff I only make in the summer and stuff I only make in the winter. I rotate meals out like I rotate the clothes in my closet. I have a lot of cold, easy meals in the summer. Like fruit and cottage cheese...or sliced tomatoes and cottage cheese...or yogurt and berries...or deli meat cold sandwiches with cold sides. If I make something hot, its on the grill or in the microwave. Then, in the winter, sides are hot and comforting...mashed potatoes, soups, etc. Thats when the oven is on and food is more elaborate. Hot, heavy food doesnt even sound good to me in the summer...casseroles and such. AM I THE ONLY ONE???
