Am I wrong in wanting to help others this comment was left on the page I run earlier and below my response to it .Waterford Wild Places Please stop the overtaking of public and community amenities to charge people money to support charities that feed into the disease. A good way to legitimise suicide is to give it status snd respectability. Like cancer. These will never go away once theyre kept alive by self generating. charities that sustain them. The walks raise awareness about depression and suicide, and provides comfort and assistance to those who have lost someone to suicide.Burying ones head in the sand and hoping the problem will just go away is very outdated. Education and awareness is vital .I will lead this walk in September in memory of my sister and all those who lost their fight for life ,together shoulder to shoulder we can break the cycle of suicide
