Amaris not pretty. Shes not tiny and fuzzy and cute. She has messed up eyelids. Shes not extraordinarily colorful. Shes not a special breed like Bobcat or Bengal. Shes not got a special story of losing a leg or long-term abandonment or abuse. Shes therefore barely got a sliver of hope that someone will love her. Yet shes special too, in her own ways. The long awaited journey for Amari has come full circle. Shes a sweet tabby who is probably about 3 years old and would make someone a wonderful lap kitty to have a conversation with. Amari is a talker! Some of you may remember Amaris story. She was rescued from the Napa County Animal Shelter because she needed surgery to stop her eye lashes from scratching and irritating the corneas. She has since had the eye surgery and healed! Amari also underwent a thyroidectomy after finding she had hyperthyroidism. This was also a success. She has been waiting since March 2014 for her forever home now that shes healed. Unfortunately she is actually starting to think she lives here. We love her, but she deserves better, dont you think?! Set up a time to see her, she would actually enjoy the conversation with you!
