Amazes me how people think we should raise these nice babies and keep good mares and a nice Stud in which we did not give pennies for (by the way)and then think we should sell our babies for NOTHING...for those of you only wanting a pretty foal and not raising your own you do not know what it cost to get that baby here and then on top of that you want them tested for this color and that color and panel tested and we register them so by this time we have 200.00 in just tested and registering the foal not counting what it has cost to keep that mare and stallion and testing the mare and stallion also keeping them in good care.and then they think they should get a nice quality colored foal for 500 bucks come on really...I just dont understand why some think it is free and we are making big bucks on these babies you are only fooling yourself ..we do not make money raising horses for most of us it is something we enjoy and that is why we do it...if you dont like someones price on a horse DONT look any farther at that horse move on and find that cheap one you are looking for. I know I as a breeder and spending a lot of money to keep these horses nice and of good quality I feel it is very rude for people to make a offer of half or less than half of what you have one priced at..I could go on and on and you breeders that do care about your horses know what I am talking about and I am sure quit a few feel the same way I feel..it is just really sad people see a horse for 200 bucks on a craigslist ad and they think ALL horses should be that price..not to mention on a started horse with 60 dasy on it you have at least 1200 in just training and they get pissy when you tell them no the horse is not 500 bucks..oh well my rant for the day..I could go on and on about how rude people are when it comes to the horse world these days..
