Amazing message received today x Hi Terri-Ann, my sister Angela posted this message to you back in March of this year, that I had done your plan and found a lump. You then posted it to your wall as follows:- (Please take note of the bottom paragraph I have just added). Just received one of the most heart warming messages EVER, I asked if it was ok to share this as I think it shows awareness and is inspiring. The main reason Im messaging is to say a massive massive THANK YOU! My sister had started back on your diet 6 weeks ago & lost nearly a stone in the 2 weeks, her breast was the 1st place she noticed a difference & a massive one at that, she found a lump & we got it checked out straight away... The past 4 weeks have been 100 miles an hour with appointments & biopsies, MRI, bone & full body scans... Shes been diagnosed with stage 3 aggressive breast cancer, treatment will start ASAP... If she hadnt of done the diet it would of most defiantly been more advanced than what weve caught it at. Just thought if let you know 123 changes lives but in our case it may of saved my sister. 23/8/14 I would like too add that since March 14, and adding to the above statement about me, I have undergone chemo since March and all of the routine appointments, to go to my appointment on Wednesday of this week to my surgeon, who tells me I have responded very well to the chemo, very well in fact that the 5cm lump I had found back in March has gone. I will however be having an operation the week after next, to have a lumpectomy and my lymph nodes removed, followed by 5 weeks of intense radiotherapy, and continue on my herceptin drug for the next 10months, but this is all routine, and at the end of this time, they will be carrying out a double mastectomy with immediate reconstruction. I would like to add that for the first time in many months I have actually noticed the sun shining these past few days, and it feels amazing, like I have been given a second chance, so I have been shopping today to buy all of my food in to start my 123 journey tomorrow, and I intend to lose all of this weight I have put on as a result of the breast cancer, constantly taking steroids, has not been good. So thank you 123 for the weight lost initially back in March, which made me find the lump, watch this space as I will be re-posting a thank you once again once I achieve my target weight loss.
