Amazing news today for women and their health professionals regarding new cervical cancer screening guidelines. The traditional 2 yearly pap smear is likely to be replaced by a once every five year HPV virus test. Testing would begin at age 25 and end at around 70. The sytem is likely to be introduced in 2016.
