Amelia Update - Day 49: Amelia is back on full feeds as of this morning, and her acid levels were closer to normal. They did say her phosphorus level was a little low, so they were going to give her something for that, and they also took her off the antibiotics which means there is no infection. It is a possibility that her pic line may come out tomorrow. Pretty decent day today, however a little touchy tonight. Her nurse said she was de-satting during care. They also took a chest x ray that showed some fluid on her lungs so they are going to give her some lasix to help get rid of that. The doctor did come in to talk to me this evening after they rounded and said that the Ligation may come back into conversation later this week after they have another echo done, it will just depend how the lasix works.
