Amen! Amen! And 1000 more Amens! If only spouses would choose to listen to each other and choose to be empathic towards each others emotions, there would be less divorce in this world. Trying to live with someone who refuses to listen and do what was needed to be done at the beginning of the request and then refuses to for over several yes is like living in hell on earth. Take heart young and old alike....listen to the one who loves you and begs for your empathy, sympathy, attention, and your attendance in their life daily. The quickest way to kill a relationship is to never attach yourself to God and to your spouse. Just make them keep waiting and you will hear them tell you that they are dying due to your neglect, lack of respect, and failure to immediately act and show your love and value for them, then top that off with alot of other destructive things and I can reassure you what the ending will be, a broken-hearted dying spouse who will eventually choose to live again rather than completely just ball up and die under your neglect. Enough is enough. Start today people, love the one your with before it is too late for turning the hands of time back. Yes, this is a true story. Been there, done that, lived through it 4 times now. If a 5th time should ever come for me, I promise the reality check will come first. I am by no means perfect, but this will be my last time I put on blinders before saying I do again. Praise God for Jimmy and Karen and their marriage ministry. They saved my life and my desire to never ever want to ever be married again. I know God has a plan for my life and the person who He has in store who will eventually ask me to marry him. I may be 70 under a shade tree, but I will know He is my soul mate because I can see clearly now for the rain has gone!! I can see all obstacles in my way, gone are the dark clouds that passed me by, its going to be a bright, bright, sun shiny day! Just saying, try to never give up, try to make it last, but know when God tells you enough is enough and you have the freedom to walk on.
