American Sniper: I think this is Clint Eastwood, the NRA member vs the Oscar winning director that made this movie :)) Simply not all that compelling. Bradley Cooper does look better as a man vs. a pretty boy :)) muscled Navy seals always a treat for me :) Now the notion of Chris Kyle ( the real life Navy Seal who had 160 documented kills in his three tours of Iraq as a sniper) being an American hero. His job was necessary, crucial, integral to protecting American soldiers and covert military raids. More so because the War on Terror fights against a cowardly enemy that hides their face and uses women and children as foot soldiers. But a man who was trained to kill and killed exceedingly well and appeared to suffer for it ( PTSD) is a soldier that needs to be celebrated like the rest of his comrades for surviving war. Not for being the American Sniper. .. Given the caliber of this movie I think I am going to make a home movie and submit ..:)))
