Amidst all the time invested in mixing these old tracks, I thought I might revisit a new song in the works I havent worked on in awhile. Its just a snippet but the song is called, Sleep Now. Its about the circles and patterns I run in my daily life. About how consumed I can get in my little bubble, unfortunately detached from whats truly important. As it was sung in the Lion King so poignantly, Its the Cirlce of Life, we love you Simba. This song is dedicated to my Auntie who passed away from cancer earlier this year. Moments like these are really difficult, and raise so many questions. In my experience they jolt us, and bring us back to the start of our circles. Which is an important positive to come of such a sad event.
