Among the criticisms I have heard about basic income, one that is interesting to look at is deindustrialization and how it affects the economy. Here are a couple websites that argues that basic income wouldnt work due to deindustrialization. (Word of warning: I feel like they tend to use some -isms as their main tool of argumentation). resilience.org/stories/2012-07-05/campagning-green-basic-income-delusion againstausterity.org/blog/basic-income-trap The main weaknesses I take from these BI criticisms are that they dont know about other forms of implementing and funding a BI, they only focus on one side of the political spectrum that supports a BI (or could be seen supporting it), and they use rather bad examples of a basic income to argue against the concept.
