Amosun Did Not Develop Ogun state- Isiaka The Ogun State governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Mr. Gboyega Isiaka, has taken a swipe at the administration of Governor Ibikunle Amosu, saying some parts of the state were neglected by the government. Isiaka promised that his government would embark on rapid economic transformation and provide massive employment for the people of the state if voted to power in the governorship election. He said this on Tuesday in Ilaro while addressing 48 traditional rulers of Yewa/Awori descent in Ogun- West senatorial district. He said, “Our people were baffled by the neglect of infrastructure here. The roads leading to Ilaro, the capital of Ogun-West, is in a terrible shape. In fact, there is no single road that is good in the whole of Ogun-West despite the fact that they are constructing bridges even where they are not necessary. We don’t know our offence as a people but we are prepared to give all it takes to get what is ours. “If I am voted in to power, there will be massive employment for the teeming youths and they will form the fulcrum of my administration. People will be at the centre of our policies and there will be development in all the three senatorial districts of the state.” Copyright PUNCH. All rights reserved.
