Both camps had been at daggers’ drawn over who controls the party structure in the state. The situation led to parallel wards and local government congresses recently. The Osoba’s faction had gone to court to seek order on some issues concerning the ward and local government congresses. Kaka, in his presentation, was said to have alleged that Governor Amosun had not been fair in the conduct of the congresses and called for fresh congresses to be conducted. Those who exchanged blows during the fracas included Solomon Ogunde, a local council chairman and Senator Gbenga Obadara, representing Ogun Central Senatorial District.
