Amsterdam Connected Bees Team members gave a jar of our Cisco ‘UnBeelievable’ honey to John Chambers (Cisco CEO), Blair Christie (Cisco CMO), Kath Weslock (Cisco CHRO) and Rebecca Jacoby (Cisco CTO) during the Q3 Company Meeting held in Amsterdam. The name of the 2013 harvest was selected as the 3 hives on site disappeared in October 2012. This is the reality of bee keeping today, 30% of bees are disappearing every year putting bio diversity at stake, this is called Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD). Despite this challenge, this is unbelievable that the team was able to maintain the 3 hives in 2013 and harvested what we call our roof top treasure. Cisco Leaders conformed their support to the project and we want to thank them for that!
