Amy Cothran Gray asked me to come up with 4 little-known things - TopicsExpress

Amy Cothran Gray asked me to come up with 4 little-known things about myself to tell all of you about. I have enjoyed reading the things posts others have written so I am honored to do my own: Four things about me: 1) I grew up on a 400 hundred acre apple orchard farm in Eastern Washington and loved every minute of it. Nothing like growing up on a farm. 2) I swam in the Methow River (connected to the Columbia River in Washington) many times alone. I could swim back and forth though the rapids in front of my house and often would wash my hair in rhe river as it made it very shiny! 3) I wrote children books in my high school days and everyone loved them. I never got a chance to try to publish them but I love to write! 4) I also love to read and have spent many, many hours in every library near me. In Washingon in the Country we had a Book Mobile and I could never wait for it to come around! and 3 more for Jim Ferguson: 5) I became a Christian when I was 11 years old. My brother and I sat in the front of a small country church and listened to a sermon on Hell Fire and Brimestone, at the end the Pastor gave a Alter call and my brother and I could not get to the alter fast enough. We literally threw ourselves on the alter. Neither one of us wanted to burn in Hell! 6) I wanted to be a nurse growing up and had even been accepted to a Nursing College in Olympia, but I never went. I got married instead and looking back, wish I had gone to Nursing School instead! 7) I do not, however, regret having my children. I love my daughters, living and gone with all my heart. They have been may main reason for going on many, many times in my life. I also love my friends and they are like family to me, Kay & Jim Ferguson, Jimmy and Della Ferguson, Susie Berthiaume, Suzy Mc Grath (rest in Heaven), and all my church family!
