Amy had a heart catheterization today in Atlanta. The hole they found in her hearts septum between right and left was bigger than anticipated ... BUT, its not causing all that much inefficiency. So the question is whether repairing it surgically (which would be her fourth open heart surgery) is warranted. It wont necessarily make her heart that much more efficient, but it might prevent more damage from occurring. Either way, this may just be as good as her heart can get. (If that sounds bad, let me tell you: It is amazing how well shes doing as it is; if born ten or twenty years earlier, they could not have done anything, and her life expectancy would simply have been decades shorter.) Her doctors need to assess just WHAT to do. Your prayers will help.
