Our wraps are great by themselves, and you can definitely use them with the stuff you have at home. But the complimentary products that Jamberry offers take our wraps from great to amazing! I started out as a doubter, thinking there was no reason to buy anything but the wraps, but I changed my tune as soon as I got them in my starter kit, and now I cant live without them! Mini-heater: 1. The heater is really quiet. Quiet enough to have a conversation or watch a movie while doing my nails. My husband LOVES this feature, as he was always irritated with my on-and-off noise! For anyone with little ones who are scared of the blowdryer noise, this is an amazing tool. Oh, and you can do it past bedtime and not disturb anyone! 2. The heat is gentle, also a great thing for little hands. It gets plenty warm enough to get the wraps good and flexible, but not so hot that youre worrying about burning. My friend has her daughters twinkle their fingers for their final seal. 3. Two hands free! You can do the Jams with one hand, but its so nice to not have to juggle the on/off, up/down. I can go a lot faster with the heater! Those are the main ones that I can think of right now. I will say that I never thought I needed a heater, until I got one in my consultant kit. And very slowly, all my friends who have used mine have come around and ordered one of their own. Application Kit: I thought my cheapy dollar store manicure kit was all I needed. And it worked okay the first time. But the scissors werent making clean cuts on my wraps, and I was messing things up often, causing me to use more wraps to get the job done. The scissors in our kit are professional-quality, and they are AWESOME. I have a couple pairs of $8 manicure scissors now too, and the ones from my kit are still the best. These alone make the application kit worth it! Cuticle oil: Oh, Jamberry cuticle oil, how I love thee. This is another one I didnt think I needed. Then I tried it. Our oil is so very lovely. Its a blend of almond, jojoba, and rice brain oils, and it smells so delightful. I can tell a HUGE, HUGE difference in my nails and cuticles when I use it regularly. If thats not great enough on its own, I ALSO use my cuticle oil to gently REMOVE my wraps! Instead of heating and taking them off carefully or soaking them in acetone, I just break the seal near the cuticle, then work the cuticle oil under them slowly, reapplying as necessary. My nails come out nourished and pretty, and theyve never been stronger or healthier in my life.
