An Alberta clipper is currently swinging across the northern - TopicsExpress

An Alberta clipper is currently swinging across the northern United States and is dumping a swath of snow. Currently, there is a moderate to heavy snow band that has set up south of Chicago, and since snow ratios are high, those regions could pick up several inches of snow very fast. This system will continue to move eastward. Most of you are well aware that we have a dangerous Arctic blast that is about to push into the United States. I will continue to keep you updated on all of that, but you should be adequately prepared if you have been following my updates and articles. As I discussed last night and alluded to several days before that, I am not ruling out a potential ice storm this weekend across portions of the Southeast. I want to watch things tonight and throughout the day tomorrow, and I will have an article out on this potential sometime tomorrow or tomorrow night. A degree or two could be the difference between a severe ice storm or just a very cold rain. I plan on getting more specific in my article. As I have already mentioned several times now, I created a list for all of you to follow in order to get all the latest updates from this page. All you have to do is click the link below, and then hit the follow button at the top of the page. After you refresh your Facebook page, a tab called Firsthand Weather or Firsthand Weather Updates will appear on the left side of your homepage under Interests. Youll have to scroll down a bit to see it. I suggest hovering your mouse over the Firsthand Weather tab and clicking the little circle image to the left. You will then be able to add it to your favorites, and then every time you get on Facebook, you will have fast access to the latest Firsthand Weather updates. I can also add other weather pages to the list on days that Im not able to update Firsthand Weather as much so you can get those updates, too! You may have to set all of this up on your computer but can check out the list from your mobile device also once you see it up. Click on the link to follow the Firsthand Weather list: https://facebook/lists/10151214615796552 Again, I will continue to have many updates this week since we have a lot going on. -Matthew
