An Angel of the Lord asked Philip to go from Jerusalem to Gaza (a desert) to meet an Ethiopian eunuch an important official for treasury of their Queen Candace. He came from Jerusalem to worship, riding his chariot while reading the book of Isaiah. The Spirit told Philip to join him, so he ran toward him chased his chariot & heard him read this passage: “He was lead as a sheep to slaughter, like a sheep silent to his shearer; He did not open His mouth. In His humiliation, justice was taken away; who shall declare His generation for His life is taken away from earth?” The eunuch asked of whom it was referring to, Philip explained it & preached to him Jesus. On their way, they came unto a certain water where the eunuch asked to be baptized believing w/ all his heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. After they came out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord took away Philip & was found at Azotus preaching up to Cesaria, while the eunuch never saw him again but went on his way rejoicing… What would the Lord wanted to show to us? God will use the right person at the right time at the right place for us just to accept His Son to be our Savior and nothing can hinder from it, even it may be far or near, whoever we are or whatever position we have, no boundaries no limit. He will do possible or impossible things in haste because He loved you that much. He knew that we are buried in desert sins that needs the springs of living water in Jesus w/c only He can fill… Eunuchs are castrated (private parts were cut off) so that they can be loyal servants of a royal family, has low social status & has no generation, & not allowed to enter God’s Temple even he have a high position & very wealthy. He thirsted to know God, travelled far away to seek Him. And Jesus has so much compassion that He even pulled Philip in a mission just for this man to be saved and w/o hesitation he asked to be baptized & now cleansed by Jesus. History also shows when this eunuch came back to Euthopia his first convert was Queen Candace & has many proofs how he promulgated Christianity there. It’s all about Jesus, after he accepts Him so much joy overfills his heart that he was excited to share it to anyone… And now Jesus is waiting for you to accept Him, He don’t care about your past all He wants is to fill your heart with so much joy, Salvation..etc. Don’t let this opportunity pass you by, you know what to do.
