An Army mom on one of the army pages Im on writes poetry and she wrote this poem that literally gave me goosebumps and made my eyes well up!! I got her permission to share it with all of you. Do What You Do Would you mind if I ask you a question or two? What are you thinking, when you DO what you DO? You protest and march against our dear sons, how have YOU served? What have YOU done? They give their lives so you have the right They stand watch, THEY fight the fight. Your freedoms not free, you can say what you please, say what you will, while I pray, on my knees. Your opinions DO matter, for you too, are the one my son is fighting to protect til its done. Til the wars are all over and the last soldier dies til then wave your flag, and forever may it fly! Im proud of my son, but Im proud of YOU, too he gives you the right, to DO what you DO. So thank you is what I am trying to say, may people like you never go away! I say this because, you remind me, with pride why so many serve, why so many died. So DO what you DO, and Ill stand strong, by my son his struggle continues, the battles not won. so God Bless our Soldiers, and God Bless you, too May we ALL stand together, for our RED, WHITE AND BLUE! - Valerie Morris, Proud Army Mom
