An Austrians experience of the worlds happiest people. This also explains why I am not aiming to stay in Denmark. Wolfgang Kuttner On the whole, foreigners discussion it does not matter whether you come from western or no western country. I come from Austria. I can count, read and write, I learned quickly to speak and read Danish. I have a job and pay taxes and not too little. And anyway I do not feel comfortable here because you dont let me and my family into society, every conversation ends after 3-4 sentences with the words .. oh, thats nice or you are talking incredibly good Danish without getting an opportunity to talk further or take a serious talk. The worst thing is that my, our mind and vision will not be heard or accepted. When you get to other points of view, examples or ideas from abroad, they are not taken seriously. To criticize Denmark is apparently just accepted to the Danes and a foreigner must continually look through pink glasses and have to say all the time, ah what lovely DK ,its the worlds best country with the happiest people. Apparently its really true that everything that is not Danish is ignored or not accepted. The last five years were very hard, Ive tried everything, Ive tried to participate in your community. I attended summer festivals come into the city, invited even more time for large parties, etc etc.., But without success. I have no powers back and will not use more energy to get into the community. I am now in parallel society. And I have not come to DK because everything is so worlds best here, no at that time they needed foreign workers and experts, and I have in all the years not heard a single thanks that I have come. Anyway - the consequence is that Im moving back and based on my experience from DK, will make a difference for foreigners in Austria. And I am looking really forward to that. And dear Politikken, (newspaper) - you are very welcome to take a interview with me where I will finally get the opportunity to give my point of view and to tell why I leave entirely voluntary the worlds best country.
