An El Paso political consultant facing felony charges was invited to serve on Sheriff Richard Wiles advisory board and also was asked for advice on improving the Sheriffs Office website, according to emails obtained by the El Paso Times. Wiles spokeswoman Chris Acosta invited political consultant Carlos Sierra — who worked with her on several political campaigns — to serve on the sheriffs advisory board in March.
