An Emmonak man is charged with six counts of assault, a count of mischief and a count of resisting arrest after a Friday incident involving an axe and a brief standoff. He yelled for the officers to go away, he yelled that he had a shotgun, says AST spokesperson Megan Peters, referring to Justin Oktoyak, 23. It was reported that two juveniles were inside, and they could hear him smashing things. At some point Oktoyak allegedly burst out of the residence holding an axe, and the trooper had to tackle and wrestle him to the ground.
