An Epiphany has been had please read, tell me what you think, wont you. Please note the sarcasm intended at all levels. Advancing the influence of corporations, special interests, and the monied elite, by reconfiguring those processes by which the power to govern, and enact laws is granted. Until such time, as the power of the dollar, at last vanquishes the power of the vote. Then, once the power is consolidated, the politics becomes exceedingly easy. Simply hand whatever of the collective pie is deemed divisible by the ruling aristocracy. Well call them, the free market, or, job creators, has become enormously popular. Like Gods they create that, if not for these exceptional beings, we mere workers, would not exist. And the government, along with the laboring masses, public infrastructure, health, education, and the like, will be listed as profit killing overhead, to be trimmed often, and put on a starvation diet, in the interest of, efficiency. The Government, Courts, its politicians, and its institutions, even controlled by a monied elite, will remain as ever, portrayed as an evil concept to be cut at every opportunity. And labour, now bought and sold as strictly a commodity to be purchased from anywhere in the World. Will naturally be made to function at, greater efficiency levels, and made most pliant, when at last the regulations of the market are removed, and the ability of labour to collectively bargain, is prohibited. All this will of course be hailed as a rebirth of Americanism, and individual freedom. Just as our Forefathers envisioned, with everything couched in the most patriotic of terms. With no less than 10 American flags at any ceremony, a contingent of U.S. Marines, and a Televangelist Preacher or two, thrown in for good measure. So come on! Whats not to like? Vote Republican! It will ensure you, and your children remain close, even in your reclining years as you move back in with them! And they will know, because you voted Republican, even as they struggle to raise your Grandchildren, they will one day, be living in on their kids, just like you and your beloved, are living in on them. And wont just that tinsy little part of the entire grand plan alone, be worth the struggle? The precursor to Mad Max.
