My Peppered Crab Recipe 2 kls Alimango (alimasag will do also)steamed and halved then set aside no need to fully cook if you wish 3 tbsp butter or margarine 1 med sized onion sliced 8 cloves garlic or 1 full head garlic minced For the sauce mix 3/4 cup banana ketchup 3 tbsp tomato ketchup 2 tbsp knorr seasoning 3 tbsp oyster sauce 2 heaping tbsp brown sugar 3 tbsp water 3 tbsp of Chili garlic sauce Just mix this altogether and set aside Sauté onion and garlic in butter or margarine.Add the crabs and sprinkle about 3 heaping tbsp of coarsely ground black pepper more if you want( remember this is peppered crab )Stir and after 5 mins pour ur sauce mix .let simmer for another 5-10 minutes stirring to make sure all crabs are covered with sauce evenly.Serve with white rice. Notes: the Chili garlic sauce is homemade or you may buy from Henlin or in SM Supermarkets on the sauces or condiments isle My Chili garlic sauce is made up of 1 part Chili and 2 parts garlic sautéed in lots of vegetable oil ( Chili garlic sauce should be fully submerged in oil to make it last long) a bit of soy sauce and brown sugar and no other fancy ingredients
