October 31, 2009- 5 years ago today @12:37pm (late as usual) I walked down a grassy isle arm in arm with 2 handsome gentleman (Adrian Quickfall & Ragu) towards a man I knew I would love for all of eternity. As Ada lifted my vail he said to me and I quote, You sure you wanna do this? I can have my bike started in 30 seconds! I gasped and said Ada! He smirked and walked away. John took my hand and Padre Tim Howze performed a memorable ceremony. Johns mother Rosalie Chan & father Stan Chan, whom could not make it down to Florida for the ceremony were both on speaker phone during the entire service. I remember moms reaction- Hes yours now! No give backs! No returns! Its been a roller coaster marriage from the start! I wouldnt trade it for anything! 5 years later we have the most preciously perfect 18 month old baby girl! I truly believe that they are both the reason for God allowing me to continue in this world. EVERY SINGLE anniversary has been a heart breaker. From Poppa Skips passing on October 31, 2010 to today where my husband sits as a visitor with the Brevard County Corrections Dept. I was hoping and praying Id have him home with me today but.......... 5 years ago today we stood up together hand in hand and made a vow to stand side by side forever. As he has always said to me, Youre stuck with me! Im stuck with him as he is stuck with me! I stand here alone in our kitchen filled with love, pride, admiration, anger, heartache & undying LOYALTY! I will ALWAYS be here! I WILL NOT FAIL YOU, OUR LOVE or OUR FAMILY! No matter what, who, when, where, how or why.... I will love you forever! Happy Anniversary John! I love you -ALWAYS!
