Were not, but “Lets Get in On” (Marvin Gaye) “My Love” (Paul McCartney & Wings). “Why me” (Kris Kristofferson) you might ask? Well because almost everyone in Class 73-74 would be there. This is no “Hocus Pocus” (Focus). “Bad, bad Leroy Brown” (Jim Croce) would be there. So will “Brother Louie” (Stories),“Little Willy” (Sweet), “Daniel” (Elton John), “Claire” (Gilbert OSullivan), “Angie” (The Rolling Stones), “Daisy a Day” (Jud Strunk), “My Maria” (BW Stevenson) and “Me and Mrs. Jones” (Billy Paul) would all be there too. Remember how we make funny names for our batchmates? They will be there too. “Frankenstein” (Edgar Winter Group), “That Lady” (The Isley Brothers), “Wildflower” (Skylark), “Shambala” (Three Dog Night), “Diamond Girl” (Seals and Crofts), “The Cisco Kid” (War), “Ramblin Man” (The Allman Brothers Band), “Funny Face” (Donna Fargo), “Funky Worm” (Ohio Players), “Gypsy Man” (War). There is no “Free Ride” (Edgar Winter Group) but I suppose “Money” (Pink Floyd) would not be a problem. There is a “Long Train Runnin” (The Dobbie Brothers) and “Love Trains” (The Ojays) from MTS. Warning: dont board the “Midnight Train to Georgia” (Gladys Knight & The Pips). Decide now and not wait for “The Twelfth of Never” (Donny Osmond). “Yes We Can Can” (The Pointer Sisters) attend. Well, some might be “Dancing in the Moonlight” (King Harvest) especially those in Zumba classes these days. In our time, “Your Mama Dont Dance” (Loggins and Messina) even if “Your Papa Was A Rolling Stone” (The Temptations). Many will tsismis and reminisce. One might ask “Say, Have Anyone Seen My Sweet Gypsy Rose?” (Tony Orlando and Dawn) or you might answer “Im Doing Fine Now” (New York City) for those interested in your blood pressure or sugar count. Others will still have their agenda and plead “Give Me Love (Give Me Peace on Earth)” (George Harrison). Others will share their travels and report “It Never Rains in Southern California” (Albert Hammond). We will discover that we belong to a mutual fans club “I Believe In You (You Believe In Me)” (Johnnie Taylor). Should an old flame be there too, “Dont Stir it Up” (Johnny Nash). This once-in-a-lifetime gig is no “Space Oddity” (David Bowie) or a “Superfly” (Curtis Mayfield) but it will make us “Feelin Stronger Every Day” (Chicago). I bet after the few hours of meeting once more “Neither One of Us (Wants to Be the First to Say Goodbye)” (Gladys Knights & the Pips). You would conclude “So Very Hard to Go” (Tower of Power) from this “Right Place, Wrong Time” (Dr. Hook). “Oh Babe What Would You Say?” (Hurricane Smith) “Live and Let Die” (Paul McCarthy & Wings). “Will It Go Round in Circles” (Billy Preston).
