An Isaiah Ikey Owens tribute from our student blogger, Bubba Ayoub: The first time I came across Ikey Owens I was watching a video from one of The Mars Voltas first tours. The man was a hurricane. He could shred on a Wurlitzer like no one ever has, or probably ever will again. He played with so much passion, so much vigor, that just watching him was an inspiration, a reflection of the kind of joy that only a stage can bring out in a person.
