An Open Prayer. I ask every Ilonggo from Iloilo City or any friend who believes in Iloilo City to please join me pray and share. Lord Almighty Father, I praise you for all the blessings that you have bestowed on me, Iloilo City and her people, the Ilonggos. Thank you for always sending your guardian angels to protect us from all harm. Thank you for sparing Iloilo City from the wrath of typhoons and calamities that hit us. We pray O Lord to give strength, hope and patience to the victims of these unfortunate events that hit our country. Spare us from calamities and let it pass through our country without harming us much. I pray Lord for the leaders of this country, especially President Benigno Simeon C. Aquino and all other government officials to be able to use your gift of leadership and good governance with political will on decisions for the best of interest of the greater majority of the Filipinos. I pray O Lord for Senate President Franklin M. Drilon whose generous heart, and untiring support for Iloilo Citys progress and development will ensure our stable and sustainable development . I pray Lord that Congresman Jerry P. Treñas be given the energy and good health to continue find means and ways for resources and funds to add more infra projects, livelihood for the blue angels, and scholarships for thousands of students. I pray for Vice Mayor Joe III Espinosa and the members of the city council to continue to legislate laws that would benefit and improve current situation of our city. I pray for the private sector, the academe, civil society, the seniors, pwds and the poor, the professionals and all our partners that they never give up and never tire to partner and believe in the capacity of our city and the Ilonggos. I pray for our city and the Ilonggos that they continue to live in a quiet, peaceful, progessive city, God-fearing citizens blessed with a lot of opportunities for education, jobs and livelihood. And LORD, I pray for ILOILO CITY to be declared as the Most Competitive City in the country by the Competitive Council of the Philippines tomorrow, August 07, 2014 at the PICC at 11 am. I also pray for those who doesnt like me, my critics and my enemies that they be enlightened to see my good side and work, understand my plans, decisions and actions that all I do is for the good and betterment of Iloilo City. All these Lord I pray in the mighty name Jesus your son. Amen. P.S. Father God, again please grant me the favor that the efforts and sacrifices of all government employees and barangays officials be paid off especially that I believe that they have done their best to make Iloilo City most competitive. I BELIEVE LORD and I declare Oh Lord. Please o Lord. Amen. P.S. 2. However LORD if your decision is otherwise on Iloilo Citys most competitive, I will still continue to Love and respect you.
